「Journals 日々、記す」&「マーク・マンダース保管と展示」"Journals Daily Writing" & "Mark Manders Storage and Exhibition" [Impression]
東京都現代美術館のコレクション展示室での企画展。MOTコレクションと銘打ち、同館の収蔵作品約5500点の中から、会期ごとにテーマや切り口を変えて展示しているらしい。
Jnurnalsは、コロナ禍や災害、オリンピックなどを背景に制作された作品が展示されていた。
特に、コロナ禍での隔離生活中の生活を意識した大作が目立った。
これらの中で、個人的には「大岩オスカール氏」の「タイムズ・スクエア、ニューヨーク」2020や「ホワイトオス(カー)森」2000が印象に残った。
一方、「マーク・マンダース保管と展示」は、同館で開催されたマンダース氏の個展が、コロナ禍で期間短縮になったために、特別に開催されたもので、普段では見れないもので、徳をした気分になった。
作品そのものは、全て微妙なバランスの上に成り立っており、土を練って作られた作品のひび割れた、なんとも壊れそうな雰囲気が良かった。

On the other hand, "Mark Manders Storage and Exhibition" was held specially because Mr. Manders' solo exhibition held at the same building was shortened due to the corona wreck, and it is something that can not be seen normally, and it is a virtue. I felt like I was doing it.
The work itself was all based on a delicate balance, and the cracked, fragile atmosphere of the work made by kneading the soil was good.
