潜水艦どころでない正月 New Year's Day, not just a submarine

旧年中は、私の拙いブログにお付き合いいただき、ありがとうございました。
本年もどうぞよろしくお願いします。

昨日は能登半島で大地震が発生し、津波も押し寄せ、多くの被害がありました。被災された方々やその関係の皆さんには、さぞかし辛く、悲しい元旦になったことと思います。

また、本日もJAL機が大炎上するなど、驚くような事故が発生しました。

なんとも、予測不可能な正月になってしまいました。

ということで、本当は潜水艦どころではないのですが、今年の抱負でもあるので、ご容赦下さい。

今年は、概ね月に2回は潜水艦等の一般公開が横須賀基地で行われるので、その関係の投稿が中心になると思っています。

潜水艦は海の隠密で、艦内やその行動まで全て秘密になっています。

さらに、日本では横須賀と広島の呉にしか潜水艦の母港がないので、頑張って、横須賀に通い、出来る範囲で隊員さんにインタビューなどをするつもりです。

とは言え、本当に何があるかわからない日々が続いているので、とにかく柔軟に、臨機応変に対応していく所存です。お許しください。

Yesterday, a major earthquake hit the Noto Peninsula and a tsunami swept through the area, causing a lot of damage. I am sure that it must have been a very painful and sad New Year's Day for those who were affected by the disaster and their families.

Also today, there was a startling accident, such as the JAL plane that burst into flames.

It has been an unpredictable New Year's Day.

So, it is really not about submarines, but it is also my aspiration for this year, so please forgive me.

This year, there will be open-house exhibitions of submarines and other vessels at Yokosuka Air Base about twice a month, so I expect that my posts will be mainly related to those exhibitions.

Submarines are the stealth of the sea, and everything on board and even their actions are secret.

In addition, Yokosuka and Kure in Hiroshima are the only home ports for submarines in Japan, so I will try my best to go to Yokosuka and interview the crew as much as I can.

However, I am not sure what is really going to happen in the days ahead, so I intend to be flexible and flexible in my responses. Please forgive me.
