潜水艦を助ける救難艦とは？ What is a rescue ship that helps submarines?

「海の忍者」「海の隠密」などと言われる潜水艦。
どこにいるか分からないので、最強の兵器とのことで、最近は各国がその確保に躍起になっています。

その潜水艦を救助する船があると聞いて「えっ？」と不思議な気持ちになりました。その船は潜水艦ではなく、水上艦だったからです。

どこにいるかを敵どころか味方にもわからないように行動している潜水艦が助けを呼ぶ際に、水上艦が行ったのでは、元も子もないのでは？と思いました。

でも、万が一、潜水艦が動けなくなり、しかも浮き上がることも出来なければ、乗組員は助かりません。

だから本当にいざという時にために、潜水艦救難艦が用意されて
いるのです。

そして、この救難艦があるからこそ、潜水艦乗りの皆さんは安心して、潜水艦に乗ることができるということが分かりました。

写真の潜水艦救難艦ちよだは、海上自衛隊が保有する２隻のうち、横須賀に配備されている一隻です。

Submarines are known as the "ninjas of the seas" and the "stealth of the seas."

Since they do not know where they are, they are considered to be the most powerful weapons, and recently countries have been working hard to secure them.

When I heard that there is a ship that rescues these submarines, I wondered, "What? I wondered, "What? It was not a submarine, but a surface ship.

I thought, "If a submarine, which acts in such a way that even its allies, let alone its enemies, do not know where it is, and if a surface ship goes to it when it calls for help, isn't it a lost cause? I thought.

But in case the submarine got stuck and also could not float up, the crew could not be saved.

That is why submarine rescue ships are prepared for emergencies.
in case of an emergency.

And because of this rescue ship, submariners can board the submarine with peace of mind.

The submarine rescue ship Chiyoda shown in the photo is one of the two ships owned by the Maritime Self-Defense Force and deployed in Yokosuka.
