如月や犬も驚く長き影 21 In February A long shadow that surprises dogs [Haiku, Senryu]
2月も残りわずかだが、朝の散歩で感じるのが太陽の位置。日が当たり温かさを感じていたら、思いがけずに影が見えた。太陽の位置が低ければ影が長いのは当然だが、季節の変化を感じるようになったことが嬉しい。
実は、犬の背丈は40〜50センチほどなのに、自分の半分ほどにも影が伸びていた。犬もさぞかし驚いただろう。
February is just around the corner, but the position of the sun is what I feel when I take a walk in the morning. When the sun was shining and I felt warm, I unexpectedly saw a shadow.
It is natural that the shadow is long if the position of the sun is low, but I am happy that I can feel the change of seasons.
Actually, the dog was about 40 to 50 centimeters tall, but the shadow was about half as long as I was. The dog would have been surprised.
