仕事なのに全くやることがない日 A day when I have nothing to do even though I work [essay]
多くの人は毎日忙しく働いていて、特に予定がないなんてことはないだろう。
しかし、自分にとっては、それほど珍しいことではない。
勿論、メールをチェックしたり、書類を確認したり、一定のルーチンワークはある。
そういう日こそ、積極的に休めばいいのだが、コロナ禍で、しかも、一人で遊びに行くのも憚れる。
そんなことから、仕方なく仕事に行くのだが、そういう日に限ってトラブルがあったり、難しい相談があったり、電話があったりする。
結局、やることがあるので、休みにくくなる。
これが、海外旅行に行くために一週間休む場合だと、全く事情が異なる。
積極的に想定しうる事前の調整やお願いごとを済ませて、何があっても、人に任せられるようにして行くのだ。
海外旅行の場合だけでなく、随時やっておけば、良いのだが、そうなると自分がその席にいる必要がなくなるので、とても微妙な問題だと気づいた。(写真はイメージ画像:pixabay)
Many people are busy working every day, and it's unlikely that they have no plans.
But for me, it's not that unusual.
Of course, there is a certain routine work such as checking emails and checking documents.
On such a day, I should take a rest positively, but it's a corona wreck, and I'm sick of going out alone.
For that reason, I have no choice but to go to work, but only on those days I have troubles, difficult consultations, and phone calls.
After all, I have something to do, so it's hard to take a rest.
If this is a week off to go on an overseas trip, things are completely different.
We will proactively make possible advance adjustments and requests so that no matter what happens, it will be left to others.
It would be nice to do it at any time, not just when traveling abroad, but then I realized that it was a very delicate problem because I wouldn't have to be in that seat. (photo is an image:pixabay)
