歩行器 Walker [Impression]
今日は、別に住む家族の退院に付き添った。転倒して骨盤の骨を折り入院していたが、リハビリをしたりして、ようやく準備が整ったので、約1ヶ月で退院となった。
実は、私はこれまで歩行器を全く意識したことがなかった。しかし、病院はもちろんのこと、多くの高齢者が利用していることに気づいた。
人は意識していないと、全く情報が入らないということなのかもしれない。
それはともかくとして、歩行器はよく出来ている。アルミ製で軽いし、歩きをサポートしつつ、体重をかけると止まる。
家族は、うまく使いながら、リハビリを続け、早く自力で歩けるようになって欲しい。

初ファミチキバーガー First Famichiki Burger [essay]
以前から、ファミリーマートのファミチキが気になっていた。
私自身、特に揚げ物好きなわけではない。ただ、ファミリーマートの社長だった澤田貴司氏の本を読んで、一度は食べてみたいと思っていたのだ。
実は、ファミマは毎日のように利用するが、温かい食べ物なので、朝、買って、昼食にするのは難しい。
だから、いつもレジで横目で見ながら、買うのを諦めていた。
今回たまたま、昼休み直前にファミマに寄ることが出来たので、チャンスとばかり買うことにした。
そして、どうせならと、チキンだけでなく、店内に大々的に掲げられていたファミチキバーガーにしてみた。
レジで、バンズとファミチキを別々に買うと、店員さんは、「タルタルが少ないので、別にタルタルソースをつけておきます！」とサービスしてくれた。
このあたりの店員さんの機転が、澤田イズムが浸透しているのだろう。
そして、初チャレンジ。
確かに美味い！
出来ればレタスなどの葉物を挟めばなお良い。
次は、もっと美味しくなるようにカスタマイズしてみたい。

When I bought the buns and Famichiki separately at the cash register, the clerk said, "This b urger have a little tartar sauce, so I'll add tartar sauce separately!"
It seems that Sawada Ism has permeated the clerk's wit around here.
And the first challenge.
Definitely delicious!
If possible, it is better to sandwich leaves such as lettuce.
Next, I would like to customize it to make it even more delicious.

「ビジネスの未来」山口 周 "The future of business" Shu Yamaguchi [Impression]
「はじめに」の最初から『ビジネスはその歴史的使命を終えつつある』と衝撃的な言葉で先制パンチを喰らった。
しかし、理路整然とその根拠やデータなどを示されると、段々と納得していくしかない。
著者が言いたいことを、自分なりにに要約させてもらうと、「先進国では、もうすでに需要が飽和状態であり、経済性を追求するのは限界に来ている」ということだと思う。
だから、「資本主義を前提としたビジネスの使命は終えつつある」というのだろう。
そして、経済性から人間性への転換
をすること、つまり、「便利で快適な世界」を「生きるに値する世界」へと変えていくということを主張している。
なるほど、今、流行っているお店や会社が、顧客が離れない理由とも共通する何かを私は感じた。
それは、理論や理屈より感情を重要視すること(この本ではヒューマニティという言葉を使っている)なのかもしれない。
さらに、思考の仕方についても、示唆に富む主張があった。
インストルメンタタルな思考形式である「未来のために、苦しい今を頑張る」という考え方から、「この瞬間充実のために今を生きる」
というコンサマトリーな思考形式へ転換する必要があるという主張だ。
このことは、まさに、最近、私自身が興味を持っている「マインドフルネス、瞑想、アドラー心理学」などの「今に集中する」という考え方と共通するかもしれない。
そうした意味で、今後のビジネスを考えると、確かに面白い。
締めくくりに、印象的だった言葉を引用して終わる。
「労働から得られる最も純度の高い報酬は何か？→自分の労働によって生み出されたモノやコトによって喜ぶ人を見ること。」

ラスカ熱海 Lusca Atami [Impression]
熱海は伊豆半島に行く際に、乗り換えで利用するばかりで、降りることは最近なかった。
久しぶりに熱海に宿泊するために降りてみると、なんと駅ビルが立派になっていた。
調べてみると、2016年の11月にオープンしていたので、すでに約5年も自分自身は駅から外に出ていなかったことになる。
1階は成城石井と観光案内所が一番改札に近い場所を確保している。
一番奥はトイレや宅急便の受付だ。
その間には熱海やその周辺地域の名産品などお土産として買える。
実際に、いつもは買わないような、とても甘いプチトマト、鯵の唐揚げ、枝豆の練物、そして鯵の干物などを購入し食べたり、お土産にして、とても満足して帰ってきた。
やはり新しいお店は財布の紐も緩くなるのだろうか？

MOA美術館 MOA Museum of Art [Impression]
熱海駅からバスで7〜8分の高台にあります。エントランスから展示室がある本館に至るまで、7基のエスカレーターを乗り継いでいくのが、一つの特徴です。
その間に、大きなドーム空間があり、世界最大級の万華鏡を映し出しています。
展示品は、日本美術のものが中心で、国宝が3点、重要文化財が67点と、充実のコレクションです。
今回訪れた時は、日本画家の竹内栖鳳氏の作品展で、緻密な動物画にとても感心しました。
さらに、日本庭園や尾形光琳の屋敷の復元などもあり、じっくり見るとかなり時間がかかります。
そのため、レストランやカフェも5箇所ほどあります。
マイカーでない人は、帰りのバス便の時間を確認の上、帰路のエスカレーターの所要時間を考えて行動した方が良いと思います。

ところで、この大楠、よくよく見ると、かなりメンテナンスをされている。
枝を落としたり、その断面が腐らないようにカバーをしたりもしていた。
全ての生物には寿命があることを考えると、御神木の役割も大変なことだと思いながら、ご利益にあやかろうと、手を合わせて来た。

カフェまで併設されていて、オリジナルのカップ、ハート形のストローなどを使っています。
全てが、インスタ映えすることを考えて、作られていると感じます。
そうした意味では、沢山の方に来ていただきたいという思いが伝わる新しいタイプの神社だと思いました。

熱海の三大別荘の一つでもあり、昭和22年からは旅館として使われた。
谷崎潤一郎、太宰治、山本有三や志賀直哉なども利用したそうで、前3人が一緒に写っている貴重な写真が展示されている。
麒麟と呼ばれる和風建築は大正8年に「海運王」の内田信也氏が建て、その後、庭園整備と洋館建築を「鉄道王」の根津嘉一郎氏が行ったという。
二人とも「その道の王」が関わっており、やはり相当の財力が必要だったことが、よく分かる。
和風、洋風、庭園と3種類の楽しみ方があり、沢山の展示品もあるので、入館料610円は、とてもリーズナブルだと感じた。

熱海ニューフジヤホテル Atami New Fujiya Hotel [Impression]
熱海シリーズ第4弾は、宿泊ホテル。伊東園ホテルズのグループで。宿泊割引券を利用出来るので予約してみた。
建物はかなり古さを感じさせたが、食事や温泉そのものは、全く支障なし。フロントにいた年配のスタッフは、まだ経験が浅いのか、若いスタッフに確認しながらフォローチェックイン手続きを進めてくれた。

「村上春樹が英語で楽しく読める本」を読んで玉砕された際、改めて日本語版を読み直すことを決心したので、早速実行した。

この作品は、群像新人賞を受賞し、当時、話題だったこともあり、当時意気込んで読んだはずだ。
自分は特に文学好きだったわけではないが、多分、友達に影響されていたのだろう。あるいは、何か新しいことに、飢えていたのかもしれない。
ただ、当時、新進気鋭の作家といえば、同じ「村上」でも、村上龍氏であったと思う。彼は、芥川賞も受賞したし、作品も読みやすく、私のな村上龍ファンはその後、数十年も続いたのだ。

あまりにまわりくどい比喩表現、いちいち考えさせるセリフは、自分にとっては、かなり面倒くさかった。

読んでみて、私は心理的安全性という言葉の意味を理解した。
少なくとも、話しやすいとか、提案しやすいとか、トライ出来るということは、組織にとっては、とても重要な要素だ。
今までは、そのことを風通しの良い職場と、言っていたが、新しい言葉が出来て、説明しやすくなったことは、自分にとってもプラスになっている。
今後、この「心理的安全性」を持つチームをどのように作っていくかが、とても大事だ。
そのことを、どう伝達し、実践に結びつけてもらうかが、私にとっては一番の課題である。
そのためには、この本を現場のリーダーに読んでもらうことが、一番手っ取り早いかもしれない。

ここ最近では、傘の出番も多くなっていたので、むしろ今年は早くに梅雨が明けるとも覚悟までしていた。
もし、オリンピックが開催されるなら、確実に開会式には、真夏日になっていると勝手に想像していた。

年齢が高くなるにつれて、身体中に良くない部分が増えてきている。
まずは毛髪。頭頂部が危険だ。
皮膚で言えば、頭部、顔、足裏に薬を塗っている。
内臓系は、血圧、腸など。肛門も今ひとつだ。
関節なら左肩だ。そして、最近転んで痛めたのが、右肘。ある特定の体勢で肘をつくと激痛が走る。もしかしたら、折れているのではないかと思うが、普段の生活には支障ないので、病院にも行っていない。
他にも経過観察中の内臓もある。
つまり、満身創痍である。

アゴラ AGORA [Impression]
「人の集まる所」という意味のアゴラ。「古代ギリシアでは市場や集会所などがある公共広場を指す。」という。
実は、JALカードの会員誌の名称である。いつも送られてきても、放りっぱなしにしていて、「時間のある時に読もう」と思い、そのままになっていた。
今回、たまたま、その「時間がある時」が出来たので、少し目を通した。
そうしたら、なんと、創刊30周年だということが分かった。自分ももうすぐ周年事業を考えないとならないので、「〇〇周年」という文字に惹かれるのだ。
それはともかくとして、創刊当時の1991年には、海外渡航者数は1000万人だったが、2019年には約2倍になっているらしい。
ただ、昨年からのコロナ禍で、その数字はガタ落ちだろう。
誌名のとおり、世界中の観光地がアゴラとなる日が待ち遠しい。

ほどがや元気村 Hodogaya Genkimura [essay]
保土ヶ谷区唯一の田んぼが帷子川沿いにある。それが「ほどがや元気村」。唯一ということに驚いたが、看板にそう書いてあるので、正しいのだろう。
自分が子供の頃は、隣の旭区でも、そこいら中に田んぼがあり、よく遊んだのに、今はこの辺りでは米作りなんてしないということだろう。
少し残念に思う。
そんなことを思い出しながら、田植えの体験イベントを眺めていた。
子供たちに、「普段食べているご飯は、この田植えから始まって、いろんな作業をしてようやく米になるのだよ」と教えているのだろう。
教えているお年寄りからすれば、「今は、子供だけでなく、その親世代にも、同時に体験させないとならない」と言っているような気がする。
とにかく、いろんな世代が、集まってイベントすることは、コロナ禍の今、特に貴重なことかもしれない。

私は常々、テレビで観る彼のコメントに納得している。特に最近は、コロナ対策における政府や自治体に対する意見。
何故、自分が彼の意見に納得するのか、この特集記事を読んで分かった。
それは、彼が持論の組み立てを大切にしていること。そして、その持論の展開のためには、人生観に基づくキーワードが必要だということだ。
例えば、東京オリパラの開催についての彼のキーワードは、「公平性」だと言う。多分人それぞれ、キーワードは違うが、それを芯に据えれば、ブレることはないという。
私も確かにそう思う。
彼の勉強は、知識の習得ではなく、人生において大切にする価値観、キーワードを探すことだと言う。
しかし、恥ずかしながら、自分の人生観に基づくキーワードなど考えたこともない。

「EUの起源はローマ帝国への憧れ」という説はとても納得したが、現実には非常に厳しい状況になっていることも、理解出来た。
旅行好きで、特に最近はヨーロッパに目を向けている私にとっては、全体的にとても興味深かった。
また、色々な切り口で、様々なヨーロッパの国々を語っていて、読み物としても、とても面白かった。
結果的に、日本がいかに素晴らしい国かということが、客観的に分かった。
その日本に呑気に暮らしていられる自分達の幸せを感じながら、読み終えた。

ミュージカル「ロミオ&ジュリエット」TBS赤坂ACTシアター Musical "Romeo & Juliet" TBS Akasaka ACT Theater [essay]
「シェイクスピアの名作だね！」と英会話の先生に言われたが、恥ずかしながら、実は私、詳しくストーリーを知らなかった。
知っているようで知らないことは、まだ沢山あるのだ。そこで、とにかくwebでストーリーの概要を調べてみて納得。悲劇だったのかと。
会場に行ってみると、コロナ禍ではあるが、かなりの席が埋まっていた。
そして、感染者が出た場合の連絡先などを登録して、約3時間の公演に入った。
本当の時代設定は、1500年代後半のはずだが、携帯電話があることを前提にした現代版になっていた。
また、衣装などもミュージカル用に仕立てられた特別な衣装だが、見ている人にとっては、敵味方の区別がつくような工夫もされていた。
それは、なんといっても演出家が宝塚歌劇団の人だからだろう。
観客のことを思って、現代版として工夫されていたが、物語は調べた通りの展開で、あまり逸脱していなかった。
私の感想を言うと、一番の驚きは俳優の歌がとてつもなく上手いこと。ダンサーの踊りがとてもキレがいいことだ。
そんなことで、感動したのはストーリー展開ではなく、俳優さんの頑張りだった。だから、カーテンコールの時が一番素敵だった。特に主役の二人。黒羽麻璃央さんと伊原六花さんは、個人的な感想を披露してくれて、それがなかなかよかった。
黒羽さんは、先輩の背中を眺めながら、ようやく射止めたロミオ役で、自分が拍手をもらえたことを素直に喜んでいたのが、好印象だった。
また、伊原さんに対して私は、元登美丘高校ダンス部キャプテンのタレントというイメージしか持っていなかったが、本当に驚いた。歌が上手かったのだ。
本人のカーテンコールでの話では、前作のウエストサイド・ストーリーがコロナで中止になり、事実上、初のミュージカル主演だったそうだ。
彼女は、しっかりと主役のジュリエットを演じていたと私は思う。
俳優さんたちが懸命に頑張る姿が、ミュージカルの良い点で、私にとっての涙腺ポイントだと言うことがよくわかった。
実は以前は、ミュージカルをよく理解していなかった。なんで歌で演劇をする必要があるのかと。
そうではない。歌と踊りと演技が合わさった素晴らしいエンターテイメントだと、ようやくわかったことが大きな収穫だった。
自分がまだ若かったら、ミュージカルスターを目指したいと思わせた素晴らしい舞台だった。

「近代日本洋画の名作選展」そごう美術館 "Modern Japanese Western Painting Masterpiece Selection Exhibition" Sogo Museum of Art [Impression]
副題は、「ひろしま美術館コレクション」。
その中から近代日本洋画の流れをたどるというテーマで展示されている。
展開は6つ。黒田清輝氏の「洋燈と二児童」という作品が入り口の正面で皆を迎える。
日本で油彩という新しい技法が始まった時期の作品がずらりと並ぶ企画なので、その後は「大正期の動向」の作品を経て、「安井曾太郎のデッサンと画室」へと展開する。
この「安井曾太郎のデッサン」は秀逸で、ビックリするくらいリアルだった。
余談だが、私はこれらの作品を見て、デッサンの基礎を勉強するための本を今日買って帰ろうと決心した。
さらに、「画室」という作品も興味深い。ヌードモデルと自分の家族や親戚が、一緒にモデルになっている。とてもユーモラスでもあり、ヌードモデルと家族らの気まずい雰囲気も想像できた作品だった。
その後、1930年代以降の作品が続き、さらに、「明治から昭和への裸体像の変遷」を経て、最後は「鴨居玲のことば」で、締められる。
最後の鴨居玲氏の作品は、弱い立場の人間の内面などに切り込んだ作品が多く、スペインの酔っ払いの絵の迫力には圧倒されてしまった。
約70点の作品を見て、この時代の多くの画家が、パリなどに渡欧して学んだり、また、その学んだ大御所に学校や個人的に学んだりしていたことがわかった。
つまり、裕福で絵がとても上手い日本中の青年らが、同じ学校や先生に学び、そうした細い線が徐々に太くなり現在の日本の洋画があることを理解できた。
そうした意味で、とても良い企画であった。

一週間に一度だけ、昼食に仕出し弁当を食べている。
この日だけは、ご飯をしっかり食べても、ジムのスタジオプログラムがハードだから、カロリーを消費出来るからだ。
だから、このボリュームの昼食を毎日食べることはない。
それにしても、420円でかなり充実しているのではないか？
肉の揚げ物、焼いた鰯、野菜の煮物、漬物、そして小さな納豆までついている。
さらに沢山のご飯にふりかけだ。
これだけのメニューを、朝9時までに注文を受けて、11時台には運んでくるのだから、そのシステムも凄いと感心してしまう。
特にコロナ禍なので、注文も多いのではないか？
もし、ご飯なしの注文が出来るなら、もう少し注文の回数を増やすことが出来るが、今度配達してくれる人に聞いてみようか？

著者は70歳代の女性作家。そして、この本は、産経新聞に連載したエッセイを再構成している。
そのため、一話の量が決まっている。また、文章が簡潔であることもあり、とても読みやすい。
そして、著者のエッセイには、私はいつも感心させられる。こうした芯の通った考えの人が減ってくると日本の伝統や文化が保てなくなると危惧することもある。
辛口で、しかもある意味で男らしく？小気味良い文体は、読んでいる自分にとっても、気持ちが引き締まる。
文の内容によっては、私自身が叱られているような気分になる事もある。私の好きな作家の一人、伊集院静氏にもなんとなく似ている。そんな風に思うのは、私だけだろうか？

私は、大阪選手や全仏オープンの主催者の対応などについて、とやかく言うつもりはない。
それより、心の病になる前に、自分の考え方を変えることで、深刻な事態にならないように出来ないかと思うのだ。
例えば、私が最近とても気に入っているアドラー心理学では、「自ら変わりたいと思い努力すれば、性格は死ぬ1〜2日前まで変えられる」という。
また、「陰口を言われても、嫌われても、あなたが気にすることはない。相手があなたをどう感じるかは、相手の課題なのだから」という課題の分離の考え方も示されている。
「そうは言っても、人間は弱い。あなただって、いつどうなるかは分からないよ。」と言われると自信がない。
でも、アドラーの考え方を少しでも実践し、そして、マインドフルネスや瞑想で、「今その瞬間に集中する」ことが出来るようになれば、心の病に至らないケースもあるのではないかと素人ながらに考える。
そう言う以上は、自らやってみるしかない。だから、今後より以上、アドラー心理学の考え方を自分の中に取り入れる努力をしていきたい。(写真はイメージ画像:pixabay)

みなとみらい線の馬車道駅の直ぐ近くに最近できたのがザ・タワー横浜北仲。その46階にあるレストランでランチを食べた。
46階ともなると、流石に眺めが良い。目の前により高いランドマークタワーが聳え立つが、普段は見上げるか遠くからしか見えないので、その眺めも新鮮だ。
ランチセットはサラダ、メインのパスタやピザ、そしてデザートをそれぞれ5種類くらいの中から選ぶことが出来る。料金は税込2970円。ただし、飲み物は別料金だ。
普段、ランチには300円くらいしかかけない自分にとっては、かなり奮発したことになる。
そんな高級なランチだが、中年男性が一人で食べていたりする。自分では考えられないことだが、世の中には、一人で3000円以上もするランチを食べる人がいることの方が、46階からの眺めよりも驚いたことだった。
