水産庁の漁業調査船「開洋丸」のホスピタリティ溢れる一般公開！The Fisheries Agency's fisheries research vessel "Kaiyo Maru" opened its doors to the public with great hospitality!

この開洋丸の一般公開に行ったのは２回目ですが、とても丁寧でしかもホスピタリティ溢れる対応で感激しました。

普段、海上自衛隊や海上保安庁の船は、公開できる部分が限られるため、制約が多いのですが、この船は、乗組員の個室などを除き、ほぼすべてを見せてくれていました。

特にエンジンがある機関室や調査研究室。さらにトロール網など各種の装置なども見ることができました。最後には、記念品まで頂き、とてもありがたく帰ってきました。

This is the second time I have been to an open house of the Kaiyo Maru, and I was very impressed by the courteous and hospitable service.

Normally, JMSDF and Japan Coast Guard vessels are restricted in what parts they can open to the public, but this vessel showed us almost everything except the crew's private quarters and other areas.

The engine room and research laboratory, where the engines are located, are particularly interesting. We were also able to see various types of equipment such as trawl nets. At the end of the tour, we even received a commemorative gift and left very grateful.

帆船スタッド・アムステルダム 日本・横浜初寄港 Sailing ship Stade Amsterdam makes first port call in Yokohama,Japan

昨日、オランダの帆船スタッド・アムステルダムが日本に初めて来たので、横浜の新港ふ頭まで行ってきました。
この船は、１９世紀の高速帆船を復元しているようで、本当は船内も見れたらよかったのですが、今回は船外からだけ楽しみました。

「９時３０分入港、１０時３０分着岸」というスケジュールだったので、１５分くらい前に到着しましたが、すでに着岸済み。

動いている姿を見ることはできませんでしたが、やはり帆船は夢と迫力がありますね。

船首についていた女神像が、何故はだけているのか、疑問が残りましたが。

Yesterday, the Dutch sailing ship Stade Amsterdam came to Japan for the first time, so I went to Yokohama's Shinko Wharf.
The ship seems to be a restoration of a 19th century high-speed sailing ship, and although it would have been nice to see the inside of the ship, I enjoyed it only from the outside this time.

The ship was scheduled to arrive at 9:30 a.m. and dock at 10:30 a.m., so we arrived about 15 minutes before the scheduled time, but the ship had already docked.

I could not see the ship in motion, but I still thought that a sailing ship was very dreamy and powerful.

I was left wondering why the statue of the goddess on the bow was bare.
