強風をさらりとよけて曼珠沙華 77 Manjushage, easily dodging strong winds [Haiku, Senryu]
本日から彼岸入りだが、日本列島は台風14号に翻弄されている。横浜でも、ピーカンの晴天だったかと思えば、いきなり土砂降りになったりしていて、とても困る。
そんな台風にも負けず、さらりと受け流し咲き乱れるのが、彼岸花。
か細い花弁ながら、なんとか、この時期だけは持ちこたえたいとの思いを感じる。
花の華麗さを見ると、彼岸花では、少し可哀想なネーミングだなぁと思っていたら、別名は曼珠沙華とのこと。
サンスクリット語で「天界に咲く花」 という意味を持つらしい。
別名の方に一票！
