「詩・季・彩 石井康治 四季を詩う彩りのガラス」青森県立美術館 "Poetry, Seasons, Color, Koji Ishii, Colored Glass that Sings the Four Seasons," Aomori Museum of Art

青森の自然に魅せられ、ガラス工芸に新たな息吹を吹き込んだ石井康治氏の作品展。

青森の三内丸山にアトリエを構えて、四季のうつろいと自然が見せる豊かな色彩、鮮やかな変化をガラス工芸で表現している。

以前、アール・ヌーヴォーの代表的なエミール・ガレ氏の作品を他の美術館で見たことがあるが、それらの作品より、色使いが多様で繊細だ。

「どうやったら、ガラスでこんなに繊細な表現が出来るのか？」と思うほど、私は作者の作品群に圧倒された。

展示の中には、どのように作品を作っていくのかを説明する写真もあり、確かに相当に手間がかかっていることが良く理解出来た。

多分、今の時代なら動画で説明するのだろうが、残念ながら石井康治氏はすでに亡くなっている。しかも、50歳という若さで。

だから、写真を使ったスライド形式となっていたのだが、彼の手法を受け継いだお弟子さん達が、活躍していることを願う。

An exhibition of works by Koji Ishii, who was fascinated by the nature of Aomori and breathed new life into glass crafts.

With an atelier in Sannai Maruyama, Aomori, glass crafts are used to express the rich colors and vivid changes of the four seasons and nature.

I have seen the works of Emile Gallé, a representative of Art Nouveau, in other museums before, but the colors are more diverse and delicate than those works.

I was so overwhelmed by the works of the artist that I wondered, "How can I make such a delicate expression with glass?"

In the exhibition, there were also photographs explaining how to make the work, and it was clear that it took a lot of time and effort.

Perhaps it will be explained in the video in this era, but unfortunately Mr. Koji Ishii has already died. Moreover, he was as young as 50 years old.

Therefore, it was a slide format using photographs, but I hope that the disciples who inherited his method are playing an active role.
