大雪にスイッチいれる敷き毛布91 Heavy snowfall switch on mattress blankets

サッカー日本代表も負けてしまい、応援の熱が冷めたこともあり、気候も気持ちもいよいよ本格的な冬になってきた。

たまたま本日は、二十四節季の大雪（たいせつ）。
横浜ではまだ雪が降り積もるようなことはない。

でも、ベッドの中に入ると冷たいと感じるようになってきた。
だから、寝始めは身体を丸めて縮こまったり、手足をさすったりして我慢して寝ていた。

そんな時、電気敷き毛布があることを思い出した。
これを使う時は、いつもベッドに入る前の20分くらいだけスイッチを入れておく。

もう我慢することもないのが嬉しいとともに、カレンダーに大雪という節目があることはありがたいことだと改めて思った。

Today happens to be the 24th day of the year, which means "heavy snow" (taisetsu).
In Yokohama, we have yet to see any snowfall.

But when I get into bed, I start to feel cold.
So, at the beginning of the day, I would curl up in a ball and shrink down, or rub my arms and legs to endure the cold.

Then I remembered that I had an electric mattress blanket.
When I use this, I always turn it on for about 20 minutes before getting into bed.

I am glad that I don't have to put up with it anymore, and I am grateful once again that there is a milestone on the calendar: a heavy snowfall.
