この本を読んだすぐ後に、後悔の念に駆られた。勿論、この本を読んだからではない。以前、訪れたヨーロッパの各美術館へ行く前に、この本を読んでおきたかった、という後悔である。

また、有名な名画だけでなく、記憶に残る作品ももっとたくさんあったはずだ。
