「工藤麻記子展 花が咲いて存在に気が付くみたいな」平塚市美術館 "Makiko Kudo Exhibition: It's like a flower blooms and notices its existence" Hiratsuka Museum of Art

本当は真鶴半島の先にある中川一政美術館に行きたかったが、バスの本数が少なくて、予定を立てにくかったので今回は諦めた。

そこで、代わりに帰りの途中に寄れる平塚市美術館に行ってみた。市制90周年記念として開催されていた標記展示会だが、とても良かった。自分の中では代打ホームランのように大正解だった。

私は工藤麻記子氏という画家を知らなかったが、日常の一場面をポップで綺麗な色使いで、どことなく漫画チックな人や動物の描き方の中で、しかし何故か深い想いを感じた。

つまり、一つひとつの作品をよくよく見ないと理解出来ない感じがしたのだ。

日本の美術館では初めての個展とのことだそうだが、今後さらに有名になる画家ではないかと感じた。

I really wanted to go to the Nakagawa Kazumasa Museum on the other side of the Manazuru peninsula, but the lack of buses made it difficult for me to make plans, so I gave up this time.

So, instead, I went to the Hiratsuka Museum of Art, which I could stop by on the way home. The title exhibition was held to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the municipal system, but it was very good. In my mind, it was a great answer like a pinch hitter home run.

I didn't know the artist Makiko Kudo, but for some reason I felt a deep feeling in her depiction of people and animals in a somewhat cartoonish manner, using pop and beautiful colors to depict scenes from everyday life.

In other words, I felt that I could not understand unless I looked closely at each work.

She said that this was her first solo exhibition at a Japanese art museum, and I felt that she would become a more famous painter in the future.
