「スパイの妻」"Wife of a Spy" [Impression]
今年になってから、久々に鑑賞した映画は邦画。ヴェネツィア国際映画祭で銀獅子賞を受賞している。太平世戦争前という時代設定で、主役の商人の生活ぶりとそれを快く思わない軍人との関係が、よくわかった。
また、古い時代の街並みをよく再現していると感心していたが、NHKの大河ドラマ「イダテン」のセットをそのまま利用したそうだ。
なるほど、そういう方法があったのかと、それも驚いた。
そして、何より、蒼井優さんの役であるスパイの妻が、ピッタリとハマっていて素晴らしかった。
健気なようでいて、実は覚悟を決めた強さを持っていて、日本の女性はもともと強かったんだと思い知らされた。
