令和3年の目標達成度 Achievement of the goal for 3 years in Reiwa [opinion]
体重減は、恒例の未達成。でも、あと1.6kgまで迫った。ジムには238回行った。自ら休会した期間が40日あるので、それを差し引くと概ね週に5日は通ったことになる。
コロナ禍で飲み会にほぼ行けなかったことが影響しているので、喜ぶべきか悲しむべきか、感情は微妙ではある。
また、お酒を抜いた日が65日と昨年に比べて倍になった。それでも一度に飲む量が多いので、趣味を楽しみたいなら、もっと摂生しないとならない。
【趣味編】
読書は115冊。映画は47本。コンサート、バレエ、ミュージカル、芝居などの舞台系は8回。そして、美術館・博物館は20回。国内旅行は5回で13日という結果だった。
どの分野も大幅に回数が増えた。それは目標を意識したからだろう。
中でも、舞台系と美術館系へ行けたのは、コロナ禍でうまく立ち回れたからだと思う。
一方で、大好きな海外旅行には未だに行けず、悶々とする日々はもうすこし続きそうだ。
【生活編】
オンライン英会話は、8925分。つまり一回25分のレッスンを357回受けたことになる。一年前に比べて、少しはスキルアップしているはずだが、全く実感がない。今後は、もう少し真剣に取り組む必要がありそうだ。
そして、最後にブログへの投稿。これは365回で、結果的に1日に一回投稿できたことになる。
とは言え、実は、数日書けずに一気に3日分投稿することも多々あった。
個人的な日記のつもりで書いてはいるが、もう少し写真と文の質を上げ、見られる、そして読まれるブログにしていきたい。

そして、最後の第六章で俳句の楽しみ方として、吟行、写真俳句、投句、句会参加なども紹介されている。
本当にタイトルどおり、「ゼロから始める」人のための入門書であることは間違いないと感じた。
早速、実践するために、季語の勉強から始めることにして、著者がお薦めの歳時記を購入してみた。

しかし、コンサート終了後、その言葉を覆すことが出来た。
毎年続けられているこのコンサートは、神奈川フィルハーモニー管弦楽団のフルオーケストラも、ソリストの演奏も楽しめる。
さらに、オペラ歌手4名の美声やバレエダンサーの踊りまで、なんでもありのコンサートだった。
ごちゃ混ぜ感はあるが、演奏、歌、ダンスの素晴らしさを全て満喫出来るなんて、とても珍しい。
因みに、神奈川県の黒岩祐治知事が観客として来ていた。激務の公務を昨日終えて、ゆっくり楽しんでいたようだ。
いずれにしても、かなフィルを応援しようと思ったコンサートだった。

白龍 純米大吟醸 「斗瓶囲い」Hakuryu Junmai Daiginjo "Tobin Enclosure" [Impression]
福井県永平寺にある吉田酒造の「とびんがこい」というお酒をいただいた。純米大吟醸のため、少し甘味があるが、香りもよく、飲み口もとても良い。
それもそのはず。山田錦を35%まで精米し、袋吊りという伝統的な手法で、一滴一滴の雫を集めて作っているとのこと。
さらに10ヶ月かけてゆっくり醸成している。まさに手間と時間を徹底的にかけて造られたほとんど杜氏のこだわりで造られた限定品だ。
一升瓶だと、100本しか造られないらしく購入すること自体が難しいらしい。
5月に訪れた永平寺の周辺の田圃をイメージしながら、素晴らしいお酒を堪能して、今年の仕事を終えられたことは、本当に幸せなことだ。

実は、私は、著者の作品をこれまで読んだことがなかった。
思いもよらない結末というのではなく、ある程度、事件の背景や犯人像を匂わしながら、ストーリー展開していく。
つまり、読み進むうちに、解明されていく事件という感じだ。
特徴的だと思ったのが、人物描写だ。推理小説だが、主人公の人柄や家族観、さらに警察内部での人間関係などのヒューマンドラマの要素も多い。
だからこそ、物語に入り込みやすいのかもしれない。
たまたま最初の一作目を読んだので、順番に読破していきたくなった。

実は、ここ数年間、NHKの大河ドラマで明治時代以降の作品を最後まで見続けたことがなかった。
しかし、今回の「青天を衝け」は、最終回まで常に興味をもって見る事ができた。
それは何故なのか、考えてみた。
一つは、最近、自分の興味が日本の近代史にも広がったこと。
明治維新から昭和にどのようなことが行われたかを知りたいと、興味を持ち始めた時期であった。
次に、この作品が、戦さや政治だけの話ではなかったこと。つまり、幕末から明治にかけての日本の文化、経済などが欧米などと、どのように違っていたかを伝えていたこと。
さらに、明治の元勲と呼ばれるような、言い換えれば、紙幣に顔が印刷されるような人が、実際にはどんな人だったのかも紹介されていた。

有名な本で、随分昔に読んだことがあるはずだが、内容を全く覚えてないため、改めて読んでみた。
全体的な構成はシンプルで、至って読みやすかった。
事前の前振り、メインストーリー、そしてそれを踏まえた解説という構成となっている。
内容については、やはり素晴らしいと感じた。
そして、本の中で頻繁に出てくる「変化」というキーワードがこれほど身に染みるのは、自分も本質的には、変化を恐れているからだろう。
つまり、若い人より、知らず知らずのうちに変化を恐れている(はずの)中高年こそが読み直すべき本だと感じた。

「ザ・フィンランドデザイン展」"The Finland Design Exhibition" [Impression]
渋谷のBunkamura ザ・ミュージアムで開催中の展示会。平日の午後に訪れたため、事前予約なしで入場出来た。だからと言って観覧している人が少なかったわけではなく、思った以上に混雑していた。
内容は、多岐にわたる。
テキスタイル、ガラス工芸、家具。陶磁器、絵画やタペストリー。さらには服やタオル、ハンカチまで幅広くフィーニッシュデザインが紹介されている。
勿論、有名なマリメッコとムーミンも登場。そのためか、帰りのミュージアムショップはかなり盛況だった。

関内ホールで開催された馬車道コンサートの3回目。演奏は東京藝大音楽部の学生の皆さん。
トランペット2人、ホルン、トロンボーン、チューバが各1人という構成。学生といえども、さまざまなコンクールで優秀な成績を収めた経験があり、しかも教授推薦の学生さんばかりとの紹介があった。
素人の私には正確な評価など出来るわけないが、確かに演奏はとても素晴らしく、目を閉じて聞く限り学生らしさは微塵も見えなかった。
一方、曲の紹介などを学生さん達が変わるがわるしてくれたが、演奏と違ってとても初々しく、演奏とのギャップがあって、とても好感が持てた。
演奏曲は、下記のとおり。バーンスタインの舞踏組曲はアメリカの映画で使われていそうなジャズの雰囲気の曲。
また、ボザ作曲のソラチネはとても難しいのに、いとも簡単そうに演奏していた。やはり藝大生、その実力の片鱗を見せつけられた気がした。
気になったのは彼らの将来で、皆がオーケストラに就職したりして、プロの音楽家になるのか、音楽の先生などになるのか、それとも、違う仕事につくのか、その辺りを知りたいと思った。

冬至に一句 A phrase at the winter solstice [Haiku, Senryu]
『浮かぶ柚子明日から延びる夕陽のよう』
寒さが増す中で帰宅して、風呂に入った時に、柚子が入っていた。「そうか、今日は冬至だったんだなぁ〜」と思ってた時に、まるで夕陽のように見えた。冷え込みは厳しくなるけど、唯一の希望として、日が延びることを思い出して一句。

When I got home in the cold weather and took a bath, Yuzu was in it. When I thought, "Well, it was the winter solstice today", it looked like the setting sun. It gets colder, but my only hope is that the day will be extended.

それもそのはず。著者は人気写真教室「たのしいカメラ学校」を開催しているひと。
軽い会話形式と4コマ漫画でそれぞれ紹介してくれており、しかも、実際の写真の比較もある。
とにかく、iPhoneカメラの一年生にとっては、まずこの一冊から始めればよいことがわかる。
実際、撮影テクニックも簡単に出来ることばかりだ。これで私の写真撮影が、今後より楽しくなりそうだ。

心配なフィリピンの台風被害 Worried typhoon damage in the Philippines [essay]
台風22号(アジア名:ライ)の直撃で、フィリピン中部のボホール島やセブ島などで大きな被害があった。
このスーパー台風がセブ島に近づいていることは、オンライン英会話の先生から聞いて、私は知っていた。
セブ島在住の彼女は、「自分の家はとても古いので、とても心配だ」と言っていたが、その後どうなっているのだろう？
オンライン英会話の会社でも、この台風被害で多くの先生から被災しているため、予約が取りにくくなっているとアナウンスがあるくらいなので、被害は大きいのだろう。
折りしも、フィリピンの人達にとって、一年で最も楽しいはずのクリスマスシーズンに被災するなんて、本当に気の毒だとしか思えない。

「女優の娘」吉川トリコ [Impression]
小説の良いところは、全く異次元の世界を垣間見ることが出来ること。
それを感じさせる作品がこれだった。
「女性アイドル、ポルノ女優、映画撮影、スキャンダル」など舞台も登場人物も自分とは全く接点がないので、フィクションとはいえ、雰囲気を感じることが出来たことは、収穫だった。
勿論、若い女性の言葉遣いから、感情などの描写があるが、ジェネレーションギャップを埋めきれない部分もあった。
それでも、のめり込むように読み進んでしまったのは、著者の力量なんだろう。
他の作品も読んでみたくなった。

The good thing about the novel is that you can get a glimpse of a completely different world.
This was the work that made me feel that.
Since neither the stage nor the characters such as "female idol, pornographic actress, movie shooting, scandal" have any contact with me, it was a harvest to be able to feel the atmosphere even though it was fiction.
Of course, there are depictions of emotions from the wording of young women, but there were also parts that could not fill the generation gap.
Even so, it is probably the author's ability that I read as if I was absorbed in it.
I wanted to read other works as well.

イタリアの実話をもとにした映画。
精神科の患者達を、励ましながら、仕事に興味を持ってもらい自立させようとする主人公。
患者役の俳優も迫真の演技で、コメディと思えないような場面もあった。
そして、失敗や挫折を繰り返しながら、なんとか良い方向に向かって進むところは、安心感があった。
イタリアの古い生活や文化が垣間見えて、なかなかの秀作だと思う。

今、話題になっている「パーパス・ブランディング」とは何かを知りたくて、読んでみた。
『「何をやるか？」ではなく「なぜやるか？」から考える』がサブタイトル。
この本を読む前まで、よく理解していなかった、ビジョンやミッションとの違いにも言及していて、そこはよく納得した。
さらに、ナイキ、ハイアット、ウーバー、Airbnb、住友ゴム工業、サラヤ、スターバックスなど、多くの先進的な会社での事例もとても参考になった。
読後の感想は「確かに！」だった。
そして、気軽に取り入れることは出来ないことも理解した。取り入れるなら、ブレずにやり通す覚悟が必要だということだ。
ネタバレ覚悟で一つだけ、フレーズを紹介したい。
『パーパスは自分達の「強み」と「情熱」と「ニーズ」が重なりあったところに存在する。』

馬車道コンサート「渡邊健二 トーク&コンサート(ピアノ)」Bashamichi Concert "Kenji Watanabe Talk & Concert (Piano)" [Impression]
馬車道コンサートは、東京藝術大学、横浜市及び関内ホールが共同で主催する無料のコンサート。
今回は、全3回うちの2回目。事前申込で1回目は外れたが、あとの2回に当選したので初めて参加した。
会場には少し早めに到着したので、空席を設けるようにしているのかと思っていたが、結果的にはほぼ満席状態だった。
学生が演奏するのかと思っていたが、何と奏者は、東京藝術大学の名誉教授。様々な音楽コンクールの審査員などを努めており、ハンガリー政府からも勲章を貰っている方だ。
あと2年で70歳との自己紹介があったが、肌艶も張りがありとても若々しい。若い学生と接しているからか、ピアノを演奏しているからなのか？どちらにしても、芸術家は飽くなき探究心があるので、生き生きとしているのだろう。
私は、ピアノだけのコンサートに行ったのは初めてだったが、感想としては、とても良かった。何故ならトークがあるので、曲の説明があったことが第一に挙げられる。
そして、概ね68歳とは思えない超絶技巧のテクニック。流石に藝大の先生は違う。
15分間の休憩を挟み、2時間超で次のとおりの5曲+アンコール3曲。
自分としては、ショパンの夜想曲とシベリウスの籾の木がとても素晴らしいと感じた。
若い芸大生のために少しの寄付をして、気持ちよく帰って来た。

In the next two years, he was introduced to himself as 70 years old, but his skin is shiny and very youthful. Is he in contact with a young student or is he playing the piano? Either way, the artist has an insatiable spirit of inquiry, so he must be alive.
It was the first time for me to go to a piano-only concert, but my impression was very good. Because there is a talk, the first thing is that there was an explanation of the song.

横浜で初雪 First snow in Yokohama [essay]
関東で最初に雪が降ったのが、横浜とは、少し驚いた。太平洋に面していて、関東北部などより少しは暖かいと思っていたからだ。
今日は寒くなるとの予想だったので、コートの内側のライナーをつけて通勤したが、雪には全く気づかなかった。
これからどんどん寒くなるのだろう。気候変動が心配なだけに平年通りの寒さはかえってありがたく感じてしまう今日この頃だ。(写真はイメージ画像:pixabay)

青森沖でマイワシが大量死 Massive death of sardines off the coast of Aomori [Comments]
アメリカの竜巻被害もビックリするニュースだったが、少し気持ちの悪いニュースがあった。
青森のむつ半島の太平洋沖で、約4キロメートルに渡り、マイワシが大量死していたという。
2018年には海水温が急激に下がったため、マイワシが大量死したことがあったらしい。また、昨年夏にも海水の酸素濃度が下がって大量死したマイワシが見つかったこともあるとのこと。
しかし、今回はそのどちらでもなく、原因が分からないという。
勿論、そう断定も出来ないだろうが、かなり気持ちの悪い事象だと思う。特に巨大な地震の前兆として何かが海に影響しているのだと怖い。
あるいは、地球温暖化による気候変動が影響しているのかもしれない。

実は、著者の小説を読むのは今回が初めてだった。最近、時代小説が面白いと感じるようになっていた私だが、「たそがれ清兵衛」という映画を以前観た時に、良い印象がなかったから、どうなんだろう？という気持ちでこの本を読み始めた。
しかし、それは杞憂に終わった。一気に読み終えてしまったのだ。
江戸時代でも現代に通じる部分がある一方で、武士という身分、藩内の理不尽な政治闘争などは、興味深い。
主人公が少年から青年へと成長していく姿を捉える点では、青春小説と考えても良いと感じた。
読後は爽やかな気分になった。

アーティゾン美術館のカフェでエットレ・ソットサス氏の作品を見ることが出来た。
イタリアの建築家だが、インダストリアル・デザインの方のイメージが強い。
よく読んだブルータスなどで作品が登場したと記憶している。
そんなソットサス氏の作品は、美術館の展示品ではなく、あくまでもカフェに飾ってあるガラス器という位置づけ。
少し驚きながらも、じっくり作品を見ることが出来たことが嬉しかった。
そんな客がたまにはいるのだろう。スタッフも「どうぞ！どうぞ！」と快く対応してくれた。

確かに、毎回、この番組の俳句バトルが意外に面白く見入ってしまう。
そして、毎回酔っ払いながら思うのが、「俳句はとても良い趣味だ」ということ。
まず、考えるために脳を使う。季語を考えるのに、様々な事象に敏感になる。もしかしたら、歩いたりするので、体力もいるかもしれない。
そして、お金はかからない。
うまく出来たら、自慢出来る。
高齢者にとっては、この上なく素晴らしい趣味になる。
でも、たった一人ではつまらない。誰かに評価してもらったり、褒めてもらったりしないとならないからだ。
