なかなか上手なタイトル表現である。

それはさておき、私は著者の本を何冊か読んだ。そして、彼の考え方にシンパシーを感じることが多い。

そこで、昨年還暦になった著者がどのような人生戦略を持っているのかを知りたくて読んでみた。

内容は還暦になってからの孤独、不安、人間関係、働く意味。さらに、お金や教養など様々な側面から言及している。

よく考えてみると、著者自身が還暦になったばかりだ。つまり60歳代を生きた経験は少ない。
古希の人からなら、60歳代を経験してのアドバイスとして受け取れるが、そうではないので、作家としての広い見識に基づくアドバイスだと思って受け止めた。

収入が減り、心配となる金の問題については、新型コロナウィルスの感染拡大による変化の述べている。

つまり、自粛生活のため、お金を使わないで楽しく暮らせることに気がついた人も多いということ。

そして、コロナウィルスが収束しても、この暮らし方は影響を及ぼすだろうということも。

また、高齢者にネトウヨ(インターネット上で右翼的な発言をする人々)が増えているということ。このことについては、私は全く知らなかったのでとても驚いた。

最後に、私が最も興味深かったのは、「死との向きあい方」の内容だった。

著者自身、キリスト教プロテスタント信者である。その視点から、宗教を理解する必要性を説くあたりは、「なるほど」と、とても納得出来た。

ただ、すでに還暦になった人ではなく、出来れば50歳代の人が読んだ方が心の準備が出来てよいかもしれないとも思った。

Regarding the problem of money, which is worrisome due to the decrease in income, he mentioned the changes caused by the spread of the new coronavirus.

And even if the coronavirus converges, this way of life will have an effect.

Also, the number of elderly people who make netto-uyoku (people who make right-wing statements on the Internet) is increasing. I was very surprised because I didn't know about this at all.

Finally, what I was most interested in was the content of "How to Face Death."

The author himself is a Christian Protestant believer. From that point of view, I was very convinced that it was necessary to understand religion.

However, I also thought that it might be better for people in their 50s to read it, rather than those who have already reached the 60th birthday.
