前回読んだ「構図がわかれば絵画がわかる」の続編である。
遠近法について4章にわけて詳しく説明されている。
その1章は4つの遠近法という題名で、「重なり」「陰影」「色彩」「縮小」についてだ。
私にとっては特に色彩の項目が興味深かった。
しかし、正直な評価は「1章だけ読めばよかったかも？」というところだ。
あとは少し冗長的な感じがした。また、例によって脱線しているのが、「アルバァ・アールトへの旅」だ。遠近法とはあまり関係なさそうだが、著者が嬉しそうに書いているのが、想像できたので、この部分は面白く読んだ。
もう一作の「色彩がわかれば絵画がわかる」を読むかどうか、悩ましい。

The first chapter, entitled Four Perspectives, is about "overlap," "shadow," "color," and "reduction."
The color item was particularly interesting to me.
However, the honest evaluation is, "Maybe I should have read only one chapter?"
The rest was a bit redundant. Also, as usual, the derailment is "Journey to Alba Aart". It doesn't seem to have much to do with perspective, but I could imagine the author happily writing it, so I read this part interestingly.
I'm wondering if I should read another work, "If you know the colors, you can understand the painting."
