以前から、著者のちょっと辛口でしかも、筋の通ったの言い方が気持ちよいと思っていた。本のタイトルから、外国や以前の日本との比較だろうなぁと、なんとなく想像していたが、その通りだった。特に、著者はアフリカに何度も行った経験があり、普通の人々の生活の大変さを身をもって知っている。
さらに、難民とはどんな人々なのかも、具体的に記述している。確かに、そうした世界の国々と比べると、日本人は甘えていると言われても仕方ない。ただ、日本でも度重なる大地震や土砂崩れ、洪水などの大きな災害が頻発しており、違った意味で、辛い生活を強いられている人もいる。私は、皆んなが皆んな甘えているわけではないと思うが、如何だろうか？
For a long time, I thought the author's slightly dry and coherent way of saying was pleasant. I thought from the title of the book that it might be a comparison with other countries and Japan before, but it was. In particular, the author has been to Africa many times and is aware of the difficulties of ordinary people's lives. It also specifically describes what refugees are. Certainly, it is unavoidable to say that the Japanese are uncomfortable compared to those countries of the world. However, even in Japan, many major earthquakes, landslides, floods, and other major disasters are occurring frequently, and some people are struggling to live in a different sense. I don't think everyone's all upset, but how?
