九州で記録的大雨 Record heavy rain in Kyushu

昨日の熊本、鹿児島に続いて、今日も九州北部の福岡、佐賀、長崎でも大雨が降っている。
昨年も、度重なる大雨や台風で、浸水被害があったが、それは、最近耳にするようになった「線状降水帯」の仕業だ。台風でもないのに、記録的な豪雨となり、大きな被害をもたらしている。
「記録的な」というのは、50年とか、少なくとも10年に一度という頻度のものをイメージするが、実際には一年に何度も来ている。
つまり、記録的な大雨は毎年頻繁に発生することになったと理解しないとならないのだ。
住む場所は勿論、街や都市の造り方から考え直さないと、命を守れないことになりそうで、とても心配だ。

Following yesterday's Kumamoto and Kagoshima, heavy rain is falling today in Fukuoka, Saga, and Nagasaki in northern Kyushu.
Last year's floods were damaged by repeated heavy rains and typhoons, but it is the work of the “linear precipitation zone” that we have heard recently. Even though it was not a typhoon, it was a record heavy rain, causing great damage.
“Record” is like 50 years, or at least once every 10 years, but it actually comes many times a year.
In other words, it must be understood that record heavy rains occur frequently every year.
I'm very worried because I might not be able to save my life unless I reconsider not only where to live, but how to build the city and the city.
