本日は穀雨。雨により、田畑の穀物を成長させるという意味だそうだ。確かに穀物も草花も成長していることを感じる。

そう考えると、人生全体の中では、これからの成長が大きく期待できる子供の時期だとも言える。

一方、私はもう晩秋から冬に向かいつつある年齢となってしまった。

だからといって、一年中冬というわけではなく、毎年のように青春を感じる春から夏を体験できることに感謝したい。
