日比谷公園内の河原売店 Kawahara Shops in Hibiya Park

先日、SONYのαアカデミーの講座に参加した際、動画撮影演習で日比谷公園に行った。

大都会の中にあるオアシスのような場所で、池や噴水の様子を懸命に撮影した。

池にはカワセミがいたようで、大きな望遠レンズを持ったカメラマンが多分20人くらい同じ場所でカメラを構えていた。

残念ながら、自分はカワセミを撮れる腕もレンズも持ち合わせていないので、彼らの一緒に連続シャッターを切る様子を撮ろうとしたが、それさえもうまくいかなかった。

噴水も池も飽きてきたので、周りにある立派な建物などを撮ったりして過ごしていたら、突如素敵なものを発見。

それが写真の売店。調べたら川原売店というらしい。なんともハイカラな日比谷公園に似つかわしくない佇まいになんだかホッとした。

この売店こそ、大都会のオアシスかもしれない。

The other day, when I attended a course at SONY's Alpha Academy, I went to Hibiya Park for a video shooting exercise.

I tried my best to capture the pond and fountain in this oasis-like place in the middle of the big city.

There seemed to be kingfishers in the pond, and there were probably about 20 photographers with large telephoto lenses holding their cameras at the same spot.

Unfortunately, I did not have the skill or lens to photograph kingfishers, so I tried to capture their continuous shutter clicks together, but even that did not work.

I was getting tired of both the fountain and the pond, so I spent some time taking pictures of the magnificent buildings around me, and suddenly I found something wonderful.

That was the store in the photo. I looked it up and found that it was called Kawahara Kiosk. I was somewhat relieved to see that it did not look out of place in the high-colored Hibiya Park.

This stall may be an oasis in the big city.
