「ぐるっとパス」はお得？ Is "The Gurutto Pass" a good deal?

今回、はじめてぐるっとパスを使ってみた。

東京で美術館に行くことが多い人なら知っていると思うが、2500円のパスで様々な美術館や博物館の入場料が無料になったり割引される。

でも、最初に使った日から2ヶ月間に限定される。

私の場合は、これまで10ヶ所の美術館に行き、6千円以上のお金を節約できた。

そうした意味では、今まで使わなかったのが勿体無かったと思うが、あえて、ここでメリットとデメリットを考えてみる。

まずはメリット

①普段なら行こうと思わない美術館に足を運ぶきっかけになる。(多分、これがぐるっとパス事務局の目論見だろう)

②お金を節約出来る。(勿論使う頻度にもよる)

次にデメリット

①メリットの裏返しだが、無理に美術館に行こうしてしまう。これは貧乏性の性格だからかもしれないが？

②時間と交通費は浪費しているかもしれない。

ということで、今後は、どうしても行きたい展示会がほぼ同時期に2〜3つくらいある場合、損得勘定をした上で、パスを使うかどうかを決めることにした。

でも、いざ買ってしまうと、貧乏性の性格が災いして、無理に行こうとしてしまいそうな気もしている。

As those who often visit museums in Tokyo know, the 2,500 yen pass offers free or discounted admission to various museums and art galleries.

First, the advantages

(1) It gives you a chance to visit museums you would not normally think of going to. (This is probably what the Gurutto Pass Office is planning to do.)

(2) You can save money. (Of course, it depends on how often you use it.)

Next, the disadvantages

(1) The flip side of the advantage is that I try to force myself to go to museums. This may be because of my poor character?

(2) Time and transportation costs may be wasted.

Therefore, from now on, when there are two or three exhibitions at about the same time that I really want to visit, I will decide whether or not to use the pass after weighing the pros and cons.

However, if I do buy one, I am afraid that my poor character will force me to try to go.
