こんな気になる宣伝文句がチラシに記載されていたら、誰でも見たくなるだろう。

建築物の断熱材、スタイロフォームを彫り込んで描くもので、後ろからLED照明を当てる仕組み。

つまり白くなる部分は深く掘り込んでスタイロフォームが薄くなっている。

濃い部分は厚くなっている。つまり、ほとんど掘り込みがない。

確かに初めて見てとても感心した。黒木瞳さんなども訪れているようで、今後より有名になっていくアーティストだと思う。

写真撮影はOKだったので、数枚の作品をご紹介する。

"Light carving," a new genre of art that is neither painting, sculpture, nor video.

Anyone would be tempted to take a look at the flyer if it contained such worrisome advertising claims.

The work is painted by carving out styrofoam, a building insulation material, and is illuminated by LED lights from behind.

In other words, the part that becomes white is deeply dug in and the styrofoam is thin.

The darker areas are thicker. In other words, there is almost no digging.

I was indeed very impressed when I saw it for the first time. It seems that Hitomi Kuroki and others have also visited this place, and I think that this artist will become more famous in the future.

横浜開催に因んで大桟橋に着岸する飛鳥Ⅱをモチーフにして作られた。

「天の羽衣」
モチーフは藤田ニコルさん。

The motif is Nicole Fujita.

「影向の松」The Shadow Pine.

「夜明けの神戸」
神戸ポートタワー。こんな色も出せるとは！
