ハロウィーン Halloween

ソウルの街で痛ましい事故が発生した。

この事故は、ハロウィーンだけでなく、超人気ドラマの影響もあったようだ。

私は、日本版にリメイクされた「六本木クラス」しか見ていないので、実は現地のことはよくわからない。
 
ハロウィーンは、本来、秋の収穫を祝い、悪霊を追い払う宗教的行事で、11月1日の諸聖人の日の前夜祭である。

仮装するのは、悪霊に人間だと気づかれないよう、身を守るためだ。
 
それが、日本では、仮装して練り歩くという若者の大きなイベントになってきた。韓国でも同様だったのだろうか？

本来、悪霊を追い払うべきだったのに、とても残念な結果である。

People dress up in costumes to protect themselves from being recognized as human by the evil spirits.

In Japan, it has become a major event for young people to parade around in costume. Was it the same in Korea?

It is a very unfortunate result when it was originally supposed to drive away evil spirits.
