「イスラエル博物館所蔵 ピカソ ひらめきの原点」パナソニック汐留美術館 "Israel Museum Collection Picasso Origin of Inspiration" Panasonic Shiodome Museum of Art

ひらめきの原点というタイトルどおり、ピカソの技術的な実験の軌跡がよく分かる展示であった。

展示作品は版画が多く、素描、水彩画なども多かった。例えば同じ女性のモチーフを色々な描き方で試していることが見て取れる。

私はピカソを天才だと思っていたが、実はどのような描き方が良いのか、答えのない中で苦悩していたのだと、理解した。

晩年のキュビズムやシュルリアリズムの作品からは想像も出来ないような、素直なデッサンなどを見ると、天才画家の基礎的な実力が分かる。

その上で誰も挑戦していない新しい分野を開拓しようと試行錯誤する姿が想像出来るよい展示内容であった。

As the title of the origin of inspiration, it was an exhibition that clearly shows the trajectory of Picasso's technical experiments.

Many of his works on display were prints, as well as drawings and watercolors. For example, it can be seen that he is experimenting with the same female motif in various ways.

I thought Picasso was a genius, but I understood that he was actually suffering without an answer as to what to draw.

The basic abilities of a genius painter can be seen by looking at straightforward drawings that cannot be imagined from the works of Cubism and surrealism in his later years.

On top of that, it was a good exhibition that you can imagine trying to develop a new field that no one is trying.
