「絵を描きたいあなたへ」永沢まこと "To you who want to draw a picture" Makoto Nagasawa

私は著者の絵のタッチがとても好きだ。そのため、いつか自分が絵を描く際に参考にしようと、以前から彼の他の本を買い積んでおいた。

今回もまたまた目についたので、購入したが、すでに著者は今年の1月に亡くなってしまったようだ。

日本で最初のアニメーターでもあり、幾つかのキャラクターも誕生させている人でもある。
今回はタイトルに惹かれて読むことにした。

本の構成は、序章で、絵ごころのこと。第一章では自己紹介。第二章で画材や絵の描き方。第三章は線で描くこと。第四章は海外旅行でのスケッチ。そして、最終章は絵を上手く描くための方法など、おさらいという具合である。

この本の特徴は、なんと言っても著者本人が、挿絵や説明用の絵を描いていることだ。カラーページも多いのでとても見応えもあるし素敵だ。

また、最低限必要な画材の紹介などもとても参考になった。

この本の中で、著者は「線でカタチをとること」の重要性を訴えている。しかし、光と影を重要視するデッサンを独学中の私からすれば、その点については、少し戸惑いもあった。

いずれにしても、好きなように描けばいいので、「描きたい」というその絵ごころが大事だという、その考え方はとても共感した。

今後、旅に出た時にスケッチを描きたくなるような説明があり、少し心が踊っている自分がいる。

彼の絵のタッチが好きな人には是非お勧めしたい。
また、著者に対しては心からご冥福をお祈りする。

Also, the introduction of the minimum required painting materials was very helpful.

In this book, the author emphasizes the importance of "taking a shape with a line." However, for me, who is self-taught in drawing that emphasizes light and shadow, I was a little confused about that point.

In any case, I really sympathize with the idea that the picture of "I want to draw" is important because I can draw as I like.

In the future, there is an explanation that makes me want to draw a sketch when I go on a trip, and I am a little excited.

I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes the touch of his paintings.
