買ってからまだ1年9ヶ月しか経っていないiPhoneのバッテリーに不具合があって、私は最近とても困っていた。

バッテリーの容量が50%くらい残っていても、突然シャットダウンしてしまうのだ。

2年を過ぎるとそういうこともあり得るとは思っていたが、これはとても不便だ。

特にゴールデンウィークには旅行に行く予定なので、予めバッテリーを交換してもらおうと、正規サービスプロバイダであるモアーズのカメラのキタムラに予約をとって行ってみた。

最初に診断があり、バッテリー容量が88%に減っているとのことだった。それ以外は不具合は見当たらないのことで、やはりバッテリー交換をすることになった。

なんと驚いたのは、無料で交換してくれたことだ。実は私はアップルプラスという保険に加入していたらしい。

前のiPhoneも何度かバッテリー交換をしたため。それに懲りたから、保険に加入したのだろう。

すっかりそのことを忘れてしまっていたが、かなり得をした気分で帰って来た。
