「幸せのレシピ」"No Reservations" [Impression]
腕はいいが、融通が効かない女性シェフの物語。突然面倒をみることになった姪との関係、自分を慕ってくれる部下の男との関係を描きながら、最後には幸せを掴む。
厨房内のスピード感あふれる動きや会話のやりとりが、小気味良く描かれている。
自分に沢山のルールを課している主人公が、少しずつ氷塊していく姿も微笑ましかった。
邦題は、「幸せレシピ」なので、少し理解出来るが、原題は、"No Reservations"で、「予約なし」っていう意味だ。しかし、あまりにもタイトルがかけ離れているので、調べたところ、「遠慮、気兼ねや秘密はなし」という隠れた意味もあるそうで、なるほどとようやく納得出来た。
