地球温暖化による影響が世界各地で起きている。
北極圏での山火事、ドイツの洪水、そして普段は台風が通らない北海道や東北でも被害が大きくなっている。
そして、IPCCが9日に公表した報告でも、「人間が地球温暖化を引き起こしたことを疑う余地がない」と断言した。
そのために、日本政府でも省エネ化の推進など、ガーボンゼロの取り組みを進めている。
私は、政府や自治体によるある程度、強力な規制、強引な誘導もやるを得ないと思っている。
しかし、自分自身が何をしているだろうかと、ふと考えた。
自家用車は、一年前に廃車にして、公共交通機関や自転車に切り替えたが、夏の間はほぼ一日中、エアコンをつけているし、冬でも使っている。
以前にも増して、電気は遠慮なく使ってしまっている。
何とかしないとならないとは思いつつ、暑さ寒さには耐えられない中で、個人的に、どんなことに取り組めばいいのだろうか、悩ましい。(写真はイメージ画像:pixabay)
The effects of global warming are occurring all over the world.
Wildfires in the Arctic Circle, floods in Germany, and even Hokkaido and Tohoku, where typhoons normally do not pass, are becoming more damaged.

I scrapped my private car a year ago and switched to public transportation and bicycle, but I keep the air conditioner on almost all day during the summer and use it even in the winter.
More than before, I feel free to use electricity.
