英会話のレッスンではよくフリートークで終始することがある。
最近、私は、ほとんどフィリピン講師のレッスンを受けているが、最初の挨拶から、そのまま、話が広がって行くこともある。
今日は、その典型で、何とフィリピンでは、6種類のコロナ対策のワクチン接種が進んでいるそうだ。
日本でもようやく最近承認されたアストラ・ゼネカ製のワクチンの2回目は3ヶ月後とのこと。
さらには、ジョンソン&ジョンソンのワクチンは一度だけ打てばよいとのこと。
これらにびっくりしたが、それ以上に驚いたのはフィリピンでは、6種類も接種ができるということ。
日本ではまだ3種類しか接種出来ないのにだ。日本では、副作用の検証ができるまで認められないが、それは、何ごとも完璧でないとならないという日本人の気質も影響しているように思う。
これは良い点でもあるし、悪い点でもある。
