3000年前の棺発見！Discovered a casket 3000 years ago!

エジプトのカイロ近郊サッカラ遺跡で、3000年前の「新王国時代」の棺が50以上発掘された。
古代の王が宗教行事を行った建物の跡地だそうだ。動画のニュースを見たが、とても保存状態もよく、文字や模様が鮮明に残っている。
「歴史が変わる大発見！」と調査したチームが語っているらしい。
このニュースとは別にサッカラでは、昨年11月に2500年前の木棺100も発見されている。この時も、歴史的な大発見とされていた。棺以外にも、マスクや木製の船、ボードゲームなども見つかっているらしい。
さて、これらの発見によって、何が分かり、歴史のどんなことが変わるのかは、まだわからない。
