ZUMBAの効用 Benefits of ZUMBA [エッセイ]
実は、ZUMBAが大好きだ。これまで、このブログには書いてこなかったが、今、肋骨が折れていて、出来ないから余計に踊りたくて仕方がない。
ところで、このZUMBA。身近な人に話しても、「何、それ？」と言われることが多い。
そこで、ZUMBAを紹介しつつ、その効用を書いてみたい。
最初の効用は、健康になることだ。私はいつも人に説明する際、ジムのスタジオプログラムの一つで、
「ラテン系エアロビクスダンス」と言っている。正確な表現ではないが、とにかく楽しみながら、1時間で大汗をかけるのだ。本当にたっぷり汗が出てしかも楽しいのが、まず一番だ。
次に、いろんな海外の音楽を知ることが出来ることだ。実は、ZUMBAを通じて、ブルーノ・マーズやアリアナ・グランデも知ったし、韓国のPSY、ダディ・ヤンキーもそうだ。
大人になってから、海外アーティストなんて全く興味もなかったが、とても気になるようになった。つまり人生の幅が広がったとも言える。
最後の効用は、なんと言っても、話の種になることだ。飲み会で同僚や部下と話しても、オンライン英会話の先生達と話しても、結構、面白がられる。特に英会話の先生達は、ZUMBAをよく知っていて、「えっ！ あなたがZUMBAやるの？」という反応だから、余計に面白い。
こんなに効用があるZUMBAなのに、今は出来ず、ストレスが溜まっている自分がいる。だから、初めて、ブログに書いたのかもしれない。(写真はイメージ画像:pixabay)

By the way, this ZUMBA. When I talk to people around me, I am often told, "What is it?"
So, I would like to introduce its utility while introducing ZUMBA.
The first benefit is to be healthy. I always say "Latin aerobics dance" in one of the gym studio programs when explaining to others. It's not a precise expression, but it's just a matter of having fun and sweating in an hour. The first thing is that it's really sweaty and fun.
Second, you can get to know a lot of foreign music. Actually, through ZUMBA, I learned about Bruno Mars and Ariana Grande, and so did PSY in Korea and Daddy Yankee.
When I was an adult, I wasn't interested in foreign artists at all, but I was really curious.
In other words, it can be said that the width of life has expanded.
The last utility is, after all, a source of talk. Whether talking to colleagues or subordinates at a drinking party, or talking to online English conversation teachers, it is quite interesting. In particular, English conversation teachers know ZUMBA well, and it's more interesting because they say, "Well, are you going to do ZUMBA?"
Even though ZUMBA is so effective, I can't do it right now. So, for the first time, I wrote it on a blog. (Photo is an image: pixabay)
