大都会の金比羅さん Kompira-san in the big city

知っている人は知っている、虎ノ門の金比羅宮。

確か再開発で神社も含めて再整備されたもの。

出来たばかりの頃は、高層ビルの狭間にある新しい神社は違和感があった。

久しぶりに訪れたら、完全に馴染んでいた。

そして、何より驚いたのは、参拝者が多いこと。丁度、仕事が終わるような時間帯だったためか、立て続けにお詣りする人がいた。

それにつられて、お詣りしてしまったのは言うまでもない。

As I recall, it was redeveloped to include the shrine.

When it was first built, the new shrine in the middle of the high-rise buildings looked strange.

When I visited it again after a long time, I found that I was completely at home.

And what surprised me most of all was the large number of worshippers. Perhaps because it was just around the time when work was about to end, there were people paying their respects one after another.

Needless to say, I was attracted by them and paid my respects to them.
