4Bから4Hまで合計10本の鉛筆を使っている自分にとっては、驚きのタイトルの本。

勿論、全てを上手く使いこなせているわけではないが、「鉛筆一本だけで」描けるのか？という素朴な疑問を持ちながら、読んでみた。

執筆者は「OCHABI insuitute」。なんだろうと調べたら、芸大や美大の受験予備校である、お茶の水美術学院、お茶の水美術専門学校の先生方だということがわかった。

内容はとてもシンプルなことばかりで、美大を受験するような高校生には少し簡単すぎるような気がした。

しかし、サブタイトルは「ロジカルデッサンの技法」なので、美大受験には欠かせない論理的な技法なのだと思う。

確かに、ただ感性のままによく見て似せて描けばよいという内容ではなかった。

まずは形、そして色、さらに遠近、最後に明暗。この4つの要素をそれぞれ意識しながら仕上げていくスタイルは理にかなっている。

私の中では、特に「質感を表現する」という部分で植物の「猫じゃらし」を描く内容が興味深かった。

美大受験の予定がなくても、今後絵を描きたいと思っている人にはお勧め出来る本であった。

A book with a surprising title for me, who uses a total of 10 pencils from 4B to 4H.

The author is "OCHABI insuite". After investigating what it was, I found out that they were teachers of Ochanomizu Art Academy and Ochanomizu Art College, which are preparatory schools for art colleges and art schools.

The content was very simple, and I felt that it was a little too easy for high school students who are going to take the art school.

However, since the subtitle is "Logical Drawing Techniques", I think it is a logical technique that is indispensable for taking the art school exam.

Certainly, it wasn't just a matter of looking closely and drawing with the same sensibilities.

First the shape, then the color, then the perspective, and finally the light and dark. It makes sense to finish with each of these four elements in mind.

For me, I was particularly interested in the content of drawing the plant "cat jarashi" in the part of "expressing the texture".

Even if you don't plan to take the art school exam, this book is recommended for those who want to draw pictures in the future.
