インターネット・エクスプローラーのサポート終了 End of support for Internet Explorer

インターネットの代名詞であるインターネット・エクスプローラーがなくなった。正確にはサポートが終了したのだが、事実上使われなくなるので、廃止と考えられる。
 
当たり前に利用してきたアプリケーションだが、最近はエッジを使うことが多くなり、実は戸惑うことが多かった。それだけ、自分の中では馴染んできたので、自分がまた一つ古い人間になったようで、少し寂しい。
 
マイクロソフト社は何故、この代表的なアプリケーションを止めたのだろうか？　マイクロソフト・エッジの一部分しか使いこなせていない自分にとっては、理解できない。
 
でも、そういうことを言う人間こそが古いのであり、歳を重ねたとしても、頑張って新しいものにチャレンジしないとならないとも思う。
 
そう私に決心させてくれたインターネット・エクスプローラーに感謝を込めて、「ありがとう！」

It's an application that I've used for granted, but recently I've been using edges more often, and I've often been confused. I've become accustomed to it, so I feel like I've become an old person again, and I'm a little lonely.

Why did Microsoft stop this typical application? I can't understand it because I can only use a part of Microsoft Edge.

However, the people who say such things are old, and even as they get older, I think they have to work hard and try new things.
