星野リゾート奥入瀬渓流ホテル Hoshino Resorts Oirase Keiryu Hotel

奥入瀬を散策することと、このホテルに泊まることを目的にゴールデンウィーク中に2泊した。

青森駅からは送迎バスで約1時間半という不便な場所であるが、奥入瀬渓流を散策するために、無料のシャトルバスを運行していて、とても助かった。

客室の目の前には、渓流が流れているわけではないが、目の前の若葉が素晴らしい。また、ベッドもソファもその窓に向いて置かれているなど、景色を見ることを全面に押し出した作りになっていた。

雨のため十和田湖でのパワーボートツアーなどのアクティビティが出来なかったが、奥入瀬渓流の見所を散策出来たのは良かった。

朝食と夕食はいずれもビュッフェ形式で、コロナ対策も十分に行われていた。入場時間の指定が必要でした。また、屋外の「渓流テラス」という所でも朝食を食べることが出来たのも良かった。

普段、身近で見る苔なんて、見向きもしない、むしろ汚いもののように思っていたが、このホテルに来て、苔の凄さが分かったのが、何よりも自分の中での驚きであった。

さらに、食堂の前に突如現れたテンを初めて見て、奥入瀬の手のついていない奥深い自然を実感した次第だ。

出来れば、紅葉の時期にもう一度行ってみたい。

We stayed for two nights during Golden Week for the purpose of strolling around Oirase and staying at this hotel.

It is an inconvenient place, about an hour and a half by shuttle bus from Aomori Station, but it was very helpful to have a free shuttle bus to explore the Oirase Gorge.

The mountain stream does not flow in front of the guest rooms, but the young leaves in front of them are wonderful. In addition, the bed and sofa were placed facing the window, making it possible to see the scenery all over.

I couldn't do activities such as a power boat tour at Lake Towada because of the rain, but it was good to be able to take a walk through the highlights of the Oirase Gorge.

Both breakfast and dinner were buffet style, and COVID-19 measures were well taken. It was necessary to specify the admission time. It was also good to be able to eat breakfast at the outdoor "mountain stream terrace".

I didn't look at the moss that I usually see around me, but rather it was a dirty thing, but when I came to this hotel, I was surprised to find out how amazing the moss was.

Furthermore, when I first saw the marten that suddenly appeared in front of the cafeteria, I realized the deep nature that Oirase hadn't touched.

If possible, I would like to go there again during the autumn colors.
