原鉄道模型博物館 Hara Model Railway Museum

以前から横浜の日産自動車本社ビルの隣にあることは知っていた。

コロナウィルスの感染者数は激増していたが、事情により訪れることになった。

それほど鉄道模型に興味があるわけではないので、入場してからの3つの展示室は、割と早く観終わってしまった。

しかも、展示室には他に誰もおらず、「時間予約の意味があったのか？」と思ったくらいだった。

しかし、「いちばんテツモパーク」という部屋に入った途端、多くの入場者がいることが分かった。

ここは、日本だけでなく、世界の一番ゲージの鉄道模型が走り回っていた。

ファンにとっては見飽きないはずであり、ここがこの博物館の一番の見せ場だ。

実際に、パンフレットにも、「世界最大級のレイアウト」と書かれていて、観覧席まで設置されていた。

さらに、もう少し小ぶりの横浜ジオラマという部屋にもHOゲージの鉄道模型が走っていた。

ここには、桜木町駅から関内周辺の主要な場所を模したジオラマがあり、横浜市民にとっては、とても感慨深いと思うはずだ。

鉄道模型ファンでなくても、横浜に来て少し時間がある人には、一度見る価値はある博物館だと感じた。

I'm not so interested in model railroads, so I finished watching the three exhibition rooms relatively early after I entered.

Moreover, there was no one else in the exhibition room, and I was wondering, "Is it meaningful to make a time reservation?"

However, as soon as I entered the room called "Ichiban Tetsumo Park", I found that there were many visitors.

Not only in Japan, but the world's largest gauge model railroad was running around here.

Fans will not get tired of it, and this is the museum's best showcase.

In fact, the pamphlet also said, "The world's largest layout," and even the bleachers were set up.

In addition, a model railroad of HO gauge was running in a room called Yokohama Diorama, which was a little smaller.

There is a diorama that imitates the main places around Kannai from Sakuragicho station, and it should be very emotional for Yokohama citizens.

Even if you are not a model railroad fan, if you have a little time to come to Yokohama, I felt that it was a museum worth seeing once.
