闘球のホーム開幕小正月 5 Rugby home game started on the 15th

新たにラグビーのリーグワンが開幕し、横浜がホームの横浜キャノンイーグルスのホスト開幕戦を観に行った。

入り口で応援用？のイーグルスの真っ赤なTシャツを無料で配っており、それを着込んで応援することにした。

そして、まずは席の確認。バックスタンドで何故かグレードアップされたS席。陽当たりが良く、思ったほど寒くなくとても快適だった。冬はメインより絶対にバックがよい。

さて、今日の相手はコベルコ神戸スティーラーズ。つまり昔の神戸製鋼。

かなり、強そうだなぁ〜と思ったら、実際、2017年に1勝しただけで、後の8試合は全て負けているとのこと。

これは厳しい試合になるだろうと覚悟した。そして、時間通りに、キックオフ。

何と、始まってすぐにイーグルスがトライをとる。かなり幸先が良い。前半の15分くらいで、26対0まで点差を広げた。あれ？どうなっているの？という感じ。

近くにいた観客からは、「日産スタジアムという大きなグラウンドに相手はのまれているのでは？」という声も聞こえたがどうなんだろうか？

そして、試合の結果は55対21。イーグルスは8つのトライで魅せてくれた。自分にとってもはじめてのリーグワン観戦で気分はとても良かった。

少し驚いたのが、サッカーと違ってリザーブの選手の殆どが交代したことだ。何人まで交代出来るのか、よく理解していないご、選手の消耗はサッカーよりあるのは間違いない。

そんなことも知れて、はじめてのラグビーのリアル観戦だったが、かなり満喫した。

あえて難点を言えば、スタンドオフでキャプテンの田村選手のキックが冴えてなかったのが、残念だった。

いずれにしても、ラグビー面白さを知りたいので、少しフォローしていこうと思う。
