本当に初心者向けに作られている。まずは、第一章で俳句の歴史、五・七・五や季語などの基礎知識を丁寧に説明している。

その後に、第ニ章では実際に俳句を詠むための17ステップで、材料集めや言葉を書き出すことなどの説明となる。

そして、第三章は、よりレベルを上げるための14のコツを。第四章では、写生の俳句を詠むための11の方法を経て、第五章では、推敲の大切さも記載している。

そして、最後の第六章で俳句の楽しみ方として、吟行、写真俳句、投句、句会参加なども紹介されている。

本当にタイトルどおり、「ゼロから始める」人のための入門書であることは間違いないと感じた。

早速、実践するために、季語の勉強から始めることにして、著者がお薦めの歳時記を購入してみた。

In order to put it into practice, I decided to start by studying Kigo and purchased the author's recommended Saijiki.
