太陽光パネル路面に敷設 Solar panel laid on the road surface [Impression]
今日の日経新聞に標題の記事が掲載されていた。フランスの道路建設会社コラスでは、すでにカナダやUAEなど約10カ国・地域で導入実績があるという。
このコラスと日本の東亜道路工業は協力して、日本で実際に導入するべく、一部の自治体と協議に入っているらしい。
まずは、駐車場や、公園、遊歩道への設置だそうだ。
さらに、他の日本の舗装会社でも、検討を進めているとのこと。これらの道路各社が見据えているのは、EVの普及で、道路に埋め込んだ送電装置で、走行中のEVの電池に無線で自動給電する技術開発も進んでいるとのこと。
この記事には本当に驚いた。そして、嬉しくも思った。発電については、再生可能エネルギーへのシフトが不可欠だが、平地が少なく太陽光パネルの設置場所が限られる日本では、将来性が見えてなかった。
それが、道路という公共空間に設置出来れば、一気に太陽光発電が進むことになる。
勿論、トラックなどの重量への耐久性やコストなどの課題はあるだろうが、脱炭素社会に向けて、頑張って研究を進めて欲しい。(写真はイメージ画像:pixabay)
