EU諸国、アメリカ、中国やロシアなどに比べて日本政府からの正式なコメントが少ない。
茂木外務大臣が中東歴訪中という事情もあるだろうが、外務省からの記者発表で、アフガニスタンの日本大使館員を一時的にイスタンブールに移動させたことくらいだ。
勿論、首相の定例記者会見でも、記者からの質問に菅総理大臣が答えているが、それも通り一遍の答え。
さらに言えば、質問した記者も外国人記者であり、日本のマスコミからは質問さえない。
日本人にとっては遠い国の問題で、しかも難民受入れなどの要望もないからなのだろうか。
あるいは、国内では、各地の洪水への対応、COVID‐19の感染拡大や衆議院選挙などが優先されるからだろうか。
新聞などの情報はすべて外国紙からの情報だけしかないことに、G7メンバーである日本がこの問題に対して、あまり前向きではないことを感じ、世界の先進国としての役割を果たしているのかと心配になる。(写真はイメージ画像:pixabay)
