チェーンメールの意味は？ What does chain mail mean?

新型コロナウィルスに関するラインが友人から送られてきた。
深圳病院から武漢に移った日本人の医師からの電話の内容とのこま。内容を要約すると次のとおり。

・新しいタイプのウイルスは耐熱性はなく、26～27度の温度で殺せる。だから、防ぐためにお湯を飲め。
・運動すると、感染しない。
・高熱の場合、生姜、ニンニク、唐辛子、胡椒をたくさん食べると良い。
・ウイルスは太陽にさらされると完全に消える。

ほぼ、同様のメールが他にも送られていると、ニュースに出ていた。
このメールを受けた時に、私はすぐに偽情報だと気づいた。
しかし、最初に送信した人は、何が目的なのだろうか？
生姜やニンニク、唐辛子の生産者では多分ないだろう。
自分が考えた嘘の情報が拡散することを楽しいと思っているのだろうか？
どういう考えでこのようなことをするのか、私にはその意味が分からない。(写真はイメージ画像:pixabay)
