帆船みらいへ夕涼みクルーズ 横浜港 Enjoy a Cool Evening Cruise on the Sailing Ship Miraie at Yokohama Port

日本で唯一、一般人が乗船できる帆船、みらいへに乗って夕涼みクルーズを楽しみました。この船はグローバル人材育成推進機構という一般社団法人が所有し、主に企業の新人研修などに使われているそうです。

しかし、今回は横浜港を帆船でビールやバーベキューを楽しみながらクルーズできるという研修とはまったく違う目的で乗船できました。

一番小さなジブセイル一枚だけでしたが、乗船客が自らセイルをあげる体験ができたこと、横浜港で初めてみるような夕焼けを見ることができたこと、さらに海賊料理をイメージしたバーベキューなど、十分に楽しみました。

食事も飲み物もあり、18時から約２時間で5000円/人はとてもリーズナブルな乗船料でした。

We enjoyed a cool evening cruise on the Miraie, the only sailing boat in Japan that is open to the public. The ship is owned by a general incorporated association called the Global Human Resource Development Organization, and is used mainly for corporate training of new employees.

This time, however, We were able to cruise around Yokohama Harbor on a sailing boat while enjoying beer and barbecue, which is a completely different purpose from training.

Although we had only one of the smallest jib sails, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience of lifting the sail by ourselves, seeing the sunset as if we were seeing it for the first time in Yokohama Harbor, and even having a barbecue inspired by pirate cuisine.

With food and drinks, the fare was very reasonable at 5,000 yen/person for a 2-hour ride starting at 6pm.
It seems that ports around Japan offer this kind of program on an irregular basis, so if you are interested, why not give it a try?
