選挙だったんだ！ It was an election!

横浜市民にとってはもう終わっている選挙だが、まさに選挙戦というエリアの人もいる。

実際に大河ドラマの時間が変わったりしている。

議員がドラスチックに政治を変えるのは無理だ。だから、ほとんどは嘘の公約になる。

でも、ちょっとずつ、仲間を集めて、多数決の論理で変えて行くことは出来る。

実は、ある自治体の議員に私の古くからの友人が立候補し、今日が投票日になっている。

まずは当選して欲しいと思うが、当選すれば、毎年恒例の旅行の日程調整が面倒になるかもしれない。

For the citizens of Yokohama, the election is already over, but for some in the area of the very election campaign.

In fact, the time of the big drama is changing.

It is impossible for legislators to change politics in a drastic way. So, most of the promises will be lies.

But they can change things little by little by gathering their friends and using the logic of majority rule.

As a matter of fact, an old friend of mine is running for councilor of a certain municipality, and today is the day of voting.

First of all, I hope he will win the election, but if he does, it may be a hassle to arrange the dates of our annual trips.
