「大人の語彙力が面白いほど身につく本」話題の達人倶楽部編 The Topic Guru Club Edition of "A Book for Adults to Learn Vocabulary in an Interesting Way".

編者は、話題の達人倶楽部となっているが、この本を読むと、NHKや国語辞典などを作る出版社の社員などで構成されているような気がした。

しかし、調べてみると、理系の内容や、雑、品格なども話題にした著書もあり、それだけではなさそうだ。

それはともかく、この本を読んで、いかに自分が日本語を正しく使っていないかが分かった。

勿論、間違えやすい言葉ばかり選んでいるからだろうが、私は概ね8割は間違えて使っていた。

今後の人生で、この本を脇に置きながら、きちんとした日本語を理解しながら話そうと、今は思っている。

ただ、この本に書かれた内容を知ったかぶりして、他人に間違いを指摘すると、面倒くさがられることは間違いないと感じる。

多分、誰も話してくれなくなることは間違いない。肝要な心持ちとともに使っていくしかない。

ところで、この文章は間違っていないかな？自信がなくなってきた。

Be that as it may, reading this book made me realize how I am not using Japanese correctly.

Of course, it is probably because I choose only words that are easy to mistake, but I was generally using 80% of the words incorrectly.

I am now thinking that in my future life, I will put this book aside and try to speak with a proper understanding of the Japanese language.

However, I feel that if I pretend to know what is written in this book and point out the mistakes to others, I am sure that I will get in trouble.

Probably, it is certain that no one will talk to me anymore. We have to use it along with an important mindset.

By the way, is this sentence correct? I'm losing confidence.
