電子通貨「しまぽ」を知っているかい？ Have you ever heard of electronic currency "Shimapo"?

伊豆大島に行った際に利用した電子通貨しまぽ。

全国旅行支援とは別に東京都が伊豆諸島など11の島々で使えるようにスマートフォン用発行している。
 
１万円の宿泊旅行商品券を7000円で購入することが出来、そのうち必ず3000円分は宿泊施設で利用することになっている。
 
私自身は2泊3日の伊豆大島の旅で3万円分を購入。実費は2.1万円だったので、9000円は得したことになる。

全国旅行支援とも併用できるので、頭の中がこんがらがってしまったが、得したことは間違いない。
 
少なくとも、大島においては、全国旅行支援のチケットより使える店舗や施設が各段に多かった。

来年3月末まで利用できるので、伊豆七島や八丈島などに行ってみようと思う人には、検討をお勧めする。

The electronic currency Shimapo was used when I visited Izu Oshima.

It is issued by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government for smartphones to be used on 11 islands, including the Izu Islands, in addition to the National Travel Assistance program.

You can purchase a 10,000 yen lodging travel gift certificate for 7,000 yen, of which 3,000 yen must be used at a lodging facility.

I myself purchased 30,000 yen worth for a 3-day/2-night trip to Izu Oshima. The actual cost was 21,000 yen, so I saved 9,000 yen.

I am confused because it can be used in conjunction with the National Travel Assistance program, but I am sure that it was a win-win situation.

At least on Oshima, there were many more stores and facilities that could be used with the ticket than with the National Travel Assistance ticket.

Since the tickets are available until the end of March next year, we recommend that those who are thinking of visiting the Izu Islands, Hachijojima, and other islands should consider it.
