Amazon prime videoの米国コメディドラマ。時代設定が1960年頃であり、歴史ドラマでもある。

そして、ユダヤ人コミュニティが中心の物語なので、ユダヤの文化も知ることが出来る。

主人公は、裕福な家に育った小さな子供を2人持つ主婦。彼女がコメディアンとして、活躍する様を描いている。

勿論、ユダヤ人だけでなく、芸能界、イタリア系や中国系のマフィアなども描かれていて、古い時代だとはいえ、なかなか面白い。

さらに、1960年代の日本と比べると、その文化レベルの違いに驚く。

ただ、私はコメディアンである主人公のトークには全く笑うことが出来なかった。やはり、笑いのツボはその国の人でないと違うことを実感した。

少しビックリしたのは、セリフの中に、Fワード、Sワードなどの放送禁止用語が沢山出てきたことだ。それは、地上波でなく、ネット配信だからこそ出来ることだろう。

まだ、最後のエピソード5が放送されていないため、エンディングが分からない。早く配信されることを臨む。
