ふるさと納税 Hometown tax payment

以前から気になっていたふるさと納税をついにやってみた。

友人達は、「住んでいる自治体に税金を払うのは当然で、ふるさと納税なんてけしからん」と言っていた。

それも確かに一理あるが、どんなものなのか、やってみないとと批判も出来ないので、兎に角やってみることにした。

自分は、生まれも育ちも横浜で、ふるさとはここだ。そうなると、当然、返礼品がどうかで選ぶことになる。

「JALふるさと納税」のサイトから、旅行の時にしか買いそうもない高級な肉、魚、果物などを選びだし、カードで決済するだけなので、割と簡単だ。

返礼品が送られてきた時にどんな感情になるのか、確定申告がどうなるのか、少し楽しみだ。(写真はイメージ画像:pixabay)

I finally tried to pay hometown tax, which I had been interested in for a long time.

My friends said, "It's natural to pay taxes to the municipality where you live, and you can't pay your hometown tax."

It certainly makes sense, but I can't criticize it unless I try it, so I decided to give it a try.

I was born and raised in Yokohama, so, my hometown is here. Then, of course, I will have to choose the reward item.

From the "JAL Hometown Tax Payment" site, I can select high-quality meat, fish, fruits, etc. that I can only buy when traveling, and settle with a card, so it's relatively easy.

I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of feelings I get when the gifts are sent and what happens to the final tax return. (photo is an image:pixabay)
