中国と台湾のTPP申請 China and Taiwan TPP application [opinion]
現在、議長国の日本にとってはかなり厄介な案件だ。色々な報道を鑑みると、中国の参加を今すぐに認めることにはならないにしても、台湾の扱いと、各参加国の思惑、さらには抜けてしまった米国とも、調整が必要だ。
米国は、アフガニスタンから手を引き、中国対策として、日本、オーストラリア、インドで構成するQUADの枠組みを構築した。
さらに、安全保障の枠組みとして、イギリスとオーストラリアとAUKUSを作り、中国包囲網を強めている。
そんな中でもあるし、習近平国家首席の任期問題と絡めて、今後6年以内に、中国が台湾への軍事侵攻する可能性もあるとの報道がある。
かなり、きな臭い状況になりつつある中で、我が国の次のリーダーは、相当に難しい判断と強いリーダーシップ、国民への説明能力が求められる。
