こんな記事が出ていた。地球温暖化の影響は、近年多発する「線状降水帯」による熊本など各地に被害をもたらしている。さらに、中国南部地域においても、1ヶ月半以上豪雨が続いており、史上最大の被害になっているという。こうしたニュースを聞くたびに、地球は大丈夫なのかと、とても心配になる。
実際、北極シベリアでは摂氏38°を記録するなど、他の地域の5倍のスピードで温暖化が進み氷が溶けているらしい。
このことにより、ホッキョクグマが餌のアザラシを狩る時間が減り、飢えによる体重減少に繋がっている。そうすると、厳しい冬を乗り越えられなくなるという悪循環だそうだ。
私は、この地球温暖化による影響をとても憂慮しているが、実際にどんな活動、行動を実行しているかと、言われると、ほぼ何も出来ていない。あえて言えば、自家用車をやめたくらいで、夏は冷房がないと寝ることも出来ない。
多分、多くの人も、「自分一人では大したことが出来ないから」と言い訳しているのだろうが、小さなことでも、皆で取り組むしかない課題だと思う。(写真はイメージ画像:pixabay)

The effects of global warming have caused damage to various places such as Kumamoto due to the "linear precipitation zone" that has frequently occurred in recent years. This reduces the time for polar bears to hunt seals for food, leading to weight loss due to hunger. Then, it seems to be a vicious cycle that it will not be able to survive the severe winter.
I am very concerned about the impact of this global warming, but when I am asked what kind of activities and actions I am actually carrying out, I can do almost nothing. Speaking of dare to say, I quit my own car, and in the summer I can't sleep without air conditioning.
