著者は「デッドライン仕事術」や「残業ゼロ」、さらには、2週間以上連続休暇を取らせた経営者として有名な方だ。
その方が、業績を上げ続けるための心得を60も書いたというので、読んでみた。
長年、社長を務めた著者の経験を元に、社長の心構えについて具体的に書かれている。
これは、精神論でなく社長になる人、なりたい人のバイブルだと思いながら、読み終えた。
中でも、興味深かったことは、全社員に社長が持っている情報を共有させることで、社長の判断を理解させたことだ。
これは、なかなか出来ないと思うが、やった本人が上手くいくというのだから、信じて真似てみるのも一考だ。
著者は、ドイツの大学に行ったり、香港で仕事をしたりと、かなりの国際派である。奥さんもフランス人ということで、多くの日本人社長とは肌感覚が違うのかもしれない。それでも、今後、より一層グローバル化し、働き方も欧米化していく可能性がある日本の中で、納得する内容も多かった。
社長を目指して頑張ろうという気にさせてくれる本だった。

Based on the experience of the author who has served as president for many years, he specifically describes the attitude of the president.
I finished reading this book, thinking that this is not the philosophy, but the bible of those who want to be presidents and who want to be.
What was particularly interesting was that all employees shared the information held by the president so that they could understand the president's judgment.
I don't think this can be done very easily, but since the person who did it works well, it's a good idea to believe and copy it.
The author is quite international, going to a German university or working in Hong Kong. His wife is also French, so his skin sensation may be different from many Japanese presidents. Nevertheless, in Japan, where there is a possibility that work styles will become more globalized and westernized in the future, much has been agreed.
It was a book that motivated me to work hard to become the president.
